Mindfulness in Reflexion Therapies

Many Therapies have the aim to change the way you think. Mindfulness-based Therapies aim to fundamentally change the relationship you have with your mind.

Since we were young, we were taught to value Doing over Being. It seems that, in our pursuit of action and development, we may have lost the balance between the two. Meanwhile, technology has entered our lives as never before. Many of us reach compulsively for our laptops and mobiles. We keep ourselves in a continuous state of Doing while we drive, watch television, multi-task, scroll and click the hours away.

The habits of overworking, hyperactivity, alcohol and substance use can keep us going for a long time. They provide a certain comfort and security that is hard to give up. However, eventually, the weakest link gives out. Depression, anxiety and physical health problems will alert us to the need to change. And we know that: when nothing changes... nothing changes!

Consider the following if you want to:

  • Become the director of the many personalities within you
  • Become free from past family conditioning
  • Explore the past, only to make more sense of the present
  • Develop unconditional love and compassion for yourself and others
  • Become more present in the never-ending adventure of life
  • Heal past hurts, grief and loss
  • Create a greater sense of well-being in your life
  • Experience and explore thoughts and feelings without becoming overwhelmed
  • Develop the clarity and focus that you need to find a meaningful and creative direction
